New Pics of My first JEEP PROJECT

Could not make it home without ripping off the fenders. Gonna need to trim just to drive it on road. Def in the market for more lift now.

What size tires did you go with? It looks like they are mounted on 15x7 wheels.

From the way the rim looks, it is most likely a 15x7. Iwant to get a set of 15x7 white spokes for my XJ. I run 33/1050R15 tires. I have a 4.5" lift and still needed to do some trimming.

Are you going to keep your flares after trimming? I want to figure out a way to put mine back on.

I already ripped three off on the way home. I dunno if i will ever have flares again.

this is an old pic of the heep, but it shows how I trimmed for 33X12.50 on 4.5ish inch lift. Without any bumpstop, it will beat the hell out of the top of the wheel well, but it never hits the front or rear of the well.

Looking good. I like the look of the white letters on the tires combined with the white spoke wheels. Gives it the cool "1980's" look. I wish I had mounted mine white letters out but figured I'd scrub them on rocks.

She's looking good Rob!

My wife said there is boxes piling up in the garage since I been gone... Woo Hoo my parts are coming in.

My budget did not allow me to get a front bumper though. but I been thinking about removing the old stainless crap one and well its a waggy... I like wood working...

thinking of mocking up a wooden one slapping some bumper endcaps on it and calling it good. Atleast until the budget allows for a steel bumper. If anything it would add some personality to the rig. hopefully make people and someone laugh or smile... never a bad thing.
Waggy's looking good. Not sure about a wooden bumper. Keep us Bama boyz posted on potential trail rides:viking:

Just took the axle out from under the truck and am prepping it for gear and locker.

Never realized how hard it is to get the dang hubs off.

Been beating on it finally got the puller out scared to mess up the hub so i got some decent pressure on it and soaked with blaster gonna let it sit tonight and see if it frees up any.

Open to suggestions also.

That is not how to remove the hubs. That will probably succeed in separating the hub.

Thread the three hub bolts back in some, then go around with a hammer and tap on them until they eventually break the hub free. Probably best to have a back up set of bolts.

Can't really do the socket method since you already have the axle out.
