Hey just checking. Finally picked up my first XJ last week and got around to registering on here. I have some plans lined up for it, just want to make it very reliable and capable, (nothing extreme). I'll get some pictures up this week hopefully. The specs:

1987 Cherokee Pioneer
Black with burgandy int.
Stock suspension (not for long)
235/75s on wagoneer wheels lol
HID 5000k Headlights.

And thats about it for now. Already took it through a rocky logging trail north of where i live and it was pretty fun. I was suprised how capable it was being stock. Cant wait to see what i can do with a few mods. Very cool Jeep indeed.

lol, i see there are quite a few new WI members like me. I actually remember a user talking about the site a few years ago, and i did a search after getting my XJ.

Here are a few "before" shots. lol I have a lot of work ahead of me, but it shouldnt be hard. I plan on fixing all the rust here soon. Also got a 97+ front end, since most of mine is trashed anyway....

Still have some cleaning up to do.... I dont think its a bad place to start out....

I take it i have to register as an member before posting in the pictures section huh? I'll have to do that. (was going to anyway....) Well anyway untill then i did some work last night when i was bored, some pics....

Did a little fender trimming. Going to work on the bumper tonignt. Installed HIDs 5000k, though they look blue in the pic... The light output is ok. Going to be putting these in tonight though....

Im really lovin the jeep thing, way too much fun. :roll:
