Just wanted to introduce myself. My name is Marty Fan, and I just recently purchased a 1988 XJ Pioneer. I'm pretty new to the XJ world and I figured I'd jump in and see what I can learn. My XJ has 169K miles on it when I bought it. It also has a 4.0L, AW4, NP 231 tcase and for right now it's on stock 225's. It's my daily driver, so build up on the XJ is going to be minimal. I also own a '97 2.5L TJ that is mildly built of the trails.

Thanks guys! The XJ will be built for trail riding as well. However, it'll be built for my fiancee.

I did take it out to play yesterday, and I am slowly falling in love with the auto on the trail. The 4.0L helps too.
