New Here DFW area

[86XJ4.3L]

Hi my name is Nick I live in Crowley just on the south side of Fort Worth. I own an '86 2 door XJ and drive it when it wants me to. It has a 4.3L V6 an AX-5 NP-207 D30/35's with 4.10 gears open on both. It had about a 3" lift when I got it and running 33x12.5R15 as well. I would like to meet up with a few local jeepers but it might have to wait till I get back from my next hitch overseas. I am mostly on CF but will start stalking/lurking here.

I normally get online to read others build to try and help me decide what I want to do to my Jeep and learn from them and their mistakes.

Thanks again. I hope to be on the trails next time I am home. I would like to have someone in the area to swing by and see if it would be allowed on the trails around here or are they not that picky about the condition of vehicles on the trails? I put extended brake lines on it this time home.Now I need to block off the vacuum line on the TC and put the manual cable shifter on my front axle and put my current tires on my new wheels.

Other than private parks I'm not sure of any public spaces that really check the condition of a vehicle before running (especially if its a registered, streetable Jeep).

That being said there are some run rules that I highly suggest everyone follow even when going on a casual wheel organized here. They're not crazy, they keep everyone safe, and the help the org's good name.
