New graduate seeking emploment help

Well Ive finally done it and graduated from high school. Ill get my diploma in my hand on saturday.

So right now where ive worked for 3 years with now problems is going through a lay off. Bummer for me especially since its a sit down resturaunt. But i guess the saying is shit happens.

Since Ill be starting college this fall at PCC or PPCC havent desided yet Id like to find a business job. My skills arent much in that field but Id like to explore it. Im really just looking for that golden chance to make alright money with a diploma that doesnt mean much anymore today.

My skills include A+ certification in OS and hardware. certification of the entire adobe creative suite. certification of the entire macromedia 8 suite. and off course certification in apple final cut pro 5, livetype and dvd studio pro. I have other but these damn little keys on my phone suck to type.

What is a job a out of school college bound student should be looking for? Ive been given suggestions and most are call centers and resturaunt both i will not work in.

All help is welcomed. Anyone ever try monster.com?

There's always the Air Force! The military offers a great career.
Plan A;
Do 4 or 5 years, get some experience, a security clearence and get out.
Then get a govt contractor job. Do college at night.

Plan B;
ROTC

Plan C;
Finish up your BS by 27 & get a commision in the AF.

With an A+ you could probably try Geek Squad or some other desktop support company. I'd also just post your resume on Monster and Dice to see what you can catch there. I get a lot of crap offers from both of those along with the good ones so just use common sense on which one to go after. Help desk work sucks but it does put some troubleshooting skils on the resume. I started doing tech support for AOL out of highschool which was hell but it was helpful in moving to a new place.
