Hey everybody just wanted to post in and introduce myself, Im not new to jeeps but this i MY first one. Growing up both my parents have had XJ's, when I was younger my dad had an old 80s cherokee and and my mom has had since new an 01 sport cherokee, which only has 80,000 miles on it now. But I just picked up a 93 cherokee 4.0 5 speed with 115,000 miles on it.the only thing i have had to do to it so far was i put a slave cylinder and a clutch in it. i plan on doing a lift and tires before the end of winter or mid spring. Although i cannot decide on what lift i want. I have a pretty tight budget so i am looking at Rustys 4.5 w/ the adaleaf rears, but i feel i will be disappointed with the adaleaf. So my other options are shell out the extra moneg for the rustys advance 4.5 with leaf packs which is an extra 300$ or the rough country 4.5 for with leaf packs that is like $680. I have heard that rough country lifts ride terribly rough. Has anyone had any experience with these kits, or recomendations on what i should purchase?

Welcome from another Missourian. For the most part, the spring rates are the same and AAL's suck anyway you slice it. Get some good shocks, not the base crap they send with kits.

Cheese is good.

Cheeseman-OUT!

E30's are cooler! :D Welcome!

Thanks for all the welcomes, I figured that that add a leafs were shit, the only time I have used them was putting them on old wornout work trucks because they are cheaper that a good set of coil over shocks. And I LOVE E30's as well, but my E36 came across at too good of a price to pass up. anyways here the only picture that I have of it right now that I took the night I brought it home.

Hey I saw that on CL and it was a smokin deal... congrats!

I run AAL's and mine are fine so far... also all front spring rates are not the same.. Rusty's offer softer rates 150 or 180lbs compared to others, some rates are downright stiff. Bilsteins are good shocks and worth the money.. I have 5100's in the rear.. love em and am running JK's up front with BPEs

Yeah I saw this jeep pop up on craigslist and bombarded the guy with Emails and calls, because ever deal on cherokees always slip away so I offered him $100 over the asking price for first dibs and bought it without driving it. drove it from fenton to st. charles with a dead slave cylinder. but I didn't care, because I got exactly what I was looking for, pre-obd2 cherokee 4 door 5 speed.
