I like the round corners better. Round seems to be more pleasing to my eye, it matches the contour of the armrest and seat better.
Do you know if they will fit on a pre 97 XJ?
Spray some adhesive on that sucker and apply some automotive carpet or vinyl to the outside and you're golden.
I know, it all adds to the price.

The round corners are surpsisingly difficult to mass produce. Ill see what I can do to do a prototype of the rounded with a cup holder.

Im not 100% positive on pre 97 fit, but I'm almost sure it would fit great. I will try and get on installed on a pre 97 to see how they fit there.

So I guess I need your opinions.... rounded or 45's?

Ill start a list of those who will get the first units as production starts. If your interested send me an email and I will get your name on that list. I hope to have solid pricing by the end of this week.

Keep the input coming... How big do you want the cup holders? How deep do you want the pocket? I can really use as many opinions as possible, including more on round or chamfered ends.

Thanks guys.

IMHO the rounded looks better, looks professional, the chamfered looks "homebrew", IMHO.
I would think a radius large enough to hold a soda can or maybe a 20oz. bottle would suffice.

I think both look good, but the cup holder should at least be big enough for 20oz, what most people will buy.

larger cup holder > round > 45*. Do what is most cost effective or offer multiple iterations with corresponding prices.

Send them without anodization thus keeping costs down.

Avoid the double sided tape. Make installation possible without removing the door panel (ie holes for a driver)

I agree something should keep the smaller beverage containers from sliding back.. and spilling.

put me on your list. (large cup holder, round, unanodized or matte black finish)

I like th ecup holder one but it needs to be round to look right. Maybe also you could seperate the cup holder area and the pocket area? And what about doing the gatorade bottle size and then making a 2.75" space grafted into the main 3.75 area. And put some sort of bottom to the cup holders and let them have there own drain holes.

I'd be in for this style with the cup holder.

what about adding a hinged lid to it to keep everything in place while bouncing down the trail?
I carry alot of stuff in the stock pockets, for instance:the controller for my winch and likes to jump out of the pocket from time to time.

Is there any reason why the pockets can't be deeper or.....higher???

Heres a crazy option:Gun holster for those that have concealed carry!!!

I have a clip holster that will fit in there perfect as is. It's just the right depth/width as is. Just add them cup/bottle holders and build a reverse clone for the pass side & I'm ready to order.

Sorry guys, im starting to sound like the Aussie locker guys. Ive been completely swamped at work but just finished up that project so I should have some time to work on this again. Ive got to find a good fabricator to crank some of these out. I can make them myself but not in any sort of efficient manner. I havent forgotten about you guys and youll be the first to know when theyre ready.

Ill do what I can to get the passenger side round unit thrown on. The round unit with cup holder looks really good btw.
