I'll update as I make progress.

thats one kick ass bumper:)!

Hey, please please please take pictures of these painted and on, i just bought the pre-runner winch bumper from them, and want to know how far the bumper will sit forward, also did yours come with fair lead tabs? A side view would be so helpful.

thanks so much for the pics post, im stoked that it looks so good, i ordered mine a couple days ago, winch pre runner. Im gonna post pictures of the add when it gets here, for those who want to know what that one looks like.

Tried to get some herculiner on yesterday. These afternoon thunderstorms are a bitch! Had to cover everything up once the rains came. Only gave me a couple hours. The old roof on this greenhouse is like swiss cheese. Thought I'd try something different. Instead of coating both bumpers completely I did the rear bumper on top where it will get scratched up when loading and unloading stuff and the front bumper I hit the bottom, winch tray, and the front between the d-ring mounts. I'll paint the rest black.

Incidentally, I've never used huculiner before. I'm impressed with how well it coats bare metal and how easily it rolls on. I always thought it would be a pain in the ass.

Finally done painting. Kinda hard to see the black hurculiner on the black paint, but there it is. This camera doesn't take very good pictures in low light conditions.

looks good!

you dont want the herc to stand out too much anyways, or it will start to look like my front end with a million different shades of black.

; )

Started with duplicolor sandable primer and followed with duplicolor gloss black. It was supposed to be glossy black paint, but came out with more of a satin finish. I sanded it lightly and went back over it with krylon gloss black and it turned out much better. Could have been my fault I guess. Maybe I didn't let the primer dry long enough before I hit it with the paint. I'm sure the 90+ percent humidity we've been having doesn't help much though.
Not the greatest pics, but here they are

Still not as good as I'd like to see, but it is from a rattle can. I may shoot it with a layer of clear coat to see if it helps.
