New BBQ Fundraiser at the Rock Garden July 26th!

excuse the noob but what/where is this? my xj is stock but i would love to get some video/pics... got good equipment and im sure people would appreciate the quality.

hey guys, i'm going to have to miss the event. i was having some chest pains last week and before you knew it, i've got 3 stents in my heart. while i'm mostly doing well i'm still not quite ready to push the heat and exertion. looking foward to some rides real soon. someone throw me a place i can send a donation to the fundraiser,or maybe i can tie up with someone on their way there to give a few bucks to. to all going, have a great time and add a few dents for me! catch everyone soon

What is the layout of the runs like at this place? I am planning on flat towing the XJ out and thinking since we are not out on a trail, I can leave the spare and tools in the tow rig and not have to worry about packing and strapping everything into the XJ.
 
this is my plan also, except the flat tow part, i was jut there lookin around and didnt see bathrooms, but they may be further in, i cant imagine them wanting 50 people relieving them selves all over the place, its right at the street and a bunch of homes from what i saw..there is gas and stater bros right across the street..

there are not any restrooms, across the street there is a big shopping center with the facilitys for the ladies, from what I have seen the last 2 times there, dont be reluctant to bring spare parts, at the last 2 events there have been 4 broken axles, 2 driveshafts, 1 transfer case, 1 tie rod, this is a great place and can be as challenging as you want it.. Brian does a great job of leading the trail, there are alternate routes for those who elect to bypass a certain challenge.. hope this helps

thanks but i already dug around there and all i found were GPS coordinates... im going to be coming down the 15 if someone can just tell me how to get there? then i need to make it from there to the harrahs casino after the run to meet up with the wife and kids. anyone want to come to the casino and party? they have a pretty good lounge act that plays saturday nights lol.

If your coming down the 15 then get off on Winchester Road(when you reach Temecula/Murrietta) and turn left. Head down til you reach Benton or Brinton, i forget exactly what its called, something with a B. Anyone remember?

Thres a Stater Bros. there. Once you hit that street turn right.

I don't have those kind of spares anyway.

I was still planning on bringing what I do have, but figuring since we are not actually heading out on a trail, I could keep em in the tow rig and keep the XJ empty, clean and light for the rocks.

Is the set up such that someone can always run you back to the parking area if you need something from the two rig?
