Very nice sound for such low RPM. This has finally convinced me to get my cracked header replaced. I'm buying the APN header next month with a nice bit overtime bonus paycheck. Hopefully, I will also be able to pick up a 99+ Intake to trade in on my 96 at the same time.
Me as well yes, I do know what I'm talking about sometimes. You do not have to swap heads although it is advisable when doing the intake, the exhaust ports however line up 100%. I'm running my Renix head with a 99+ intake that doesn't match up to my head's ports all the way.

A renix will run fine if not better w/o the EGR and will not set any CE lights, heh. You definately need the stock or custom downpipe in order for it to work.
