Bolting to the frame rails would be plenty strong. You would have to put some kind of nut inserts in the frame, I got a plan for that. Damn, I just thought of about 3 ways to do it as I was typing! I can't wait to try these out.ocean_jet said:John,
I was thinking about the frame rail to frame rail skid we discussed. With frame rail to frame rail, I would think you would have to bolt it to the frame rails and not weld. If it was welded, it would have to be "unwelded" to service t-case or cat-converter. Would bolting to the frame rails be strong enough?
