Needed: NP242 Bay Area

Hey Guys,

I'm in need of a working NP242 before a road trip coming up next week, and I thought I would see if anyone might have one they are willing to part with.


My current TC is in need of a rebuild and I won't have time to get it together before we are suppose to leave. Still works but the front output bearing is making noise and vibes and I don't want to take it 2k miles like that.


located in Santa Cruz, Ca can meet anywhere within a 100 or so miles

I have an aw4/242 out of an 89 for $75 if you can not find anything closer. torque converter makes a whine noise but trans works great. 242 worked great.

If I still lived in OC I would pick that up in a second. I guess Sierra Chapter might be the better spot for this post
