hi there NAXJA users

I recently swapped an engine from a 95 into an 88. The different models met at the wiring harness at the drivers feet.

so now I have a mess of wires that I have no idea what goes where. We figured out some of the wires...lights, ignition, brakes, fuelpump...enough to get i ton the trail...but i'd like to get it all tidied up , and tucked back away from my feet.

Does anyone know where I can find the color codes for those years so that I can say.. hmm.. Green with White Stripe... that's interior lights... that goes with... white with plue stripe... etc.

Also, I have no idea what fuses go where. The fuse box is from the 95, but it didn't come with a manual.. maybe if someone could scan a page from their 95?

thanks!

did you swap out the wiring harness and pcm from the 95 to the 88?

swaping just the engine from the 95 to 88 is not just a simple plug and play.

I'm not sure what the PCM is.. but the jeep is running fine, and has been for 800 miles since the swap.

*thinking* Power Control Module? if that's what that means then yeah..

It's the wires for the blinkers, interior lights, rear wiper motor, cruise, etc...

My friends spent about 2 hours and figured out the lights, ignition, running lights, fuel pump, stuff critical to not getting pulled over.
