As you all know, time is running out to prepare for the crawl. Brent's Jeep is coming along really nicely. but time is running out quickly. Unfortunatrely, the people I would normally ask to give me a hand are all busy this week, and I REALLY need a hand if LS2 XJ is gonna make it. I have the axles built, tires mounted, ORIs in hand etc. Basically all that needs to be done is remove the factory axles and current suspension, install the front and rear frame stiffners (mids are already done), and install the Rock Krawler 3 link front/4link rear. The steering, track bar, and the mounts for the ORI struts will all have to be hand fabbed, as well as front axle brackets. Now, this really isn't a big deal, but I could seriously use an extra hand for ideas, holding things, moving and lifting heavy objects, etc.

The conditions are as follows... I would really prefer that you have some type of fabrication knowledge due to the complexity of this project. Someone with some experience would be really helpful, especially with coming up with ideas about the custom stuff and what not. I can and WILL do all of the welding, so need to be perfect at that. Also, unfortunately I cannot afford to pay you, but I can provide all meals, and a place to stay as I have the house to myself all week.

Another benefit would be that you can say you had a hand in the most bad ass Cherokee ever! Plus, I'll take you for a ride in it! I will be working all week, and could use a hand whenever, so if you've got an extra day or two, come hang out and give me a hand!

I can help you after work if you think my services can help ...let me know

Thanks for the offer Mark, but Im really looking for someone who can help during the day though. Nothing against you, its just that by the time you can make it out, I am usually tired and don't feel much like working. I think Doug offered to come down and help Thursday, so that may just be the ticket I need. I can pretty much do all of it by myself, but the ORI mounts and moving all the heavy stuff around by myself will be challenging to say the least.

If I can use a hand at night ill let you know, but Im really in need of a "Day Shifter" lol.

i can probably come down late wednesday night after work.... we can get up early on thurs and knock out all the big stuff.... sound good? all the parts on schedule?

Hey Richard! Remember who offered to work the entire night working on your rig for put up or shut up??? Haha, just kidding. I wouldn't expect anybody to drive that far to give me a hand.

Doug, all parts are on schedule as far as I know. I am still waiting on the Rock Krawler kit, but I am hoping it shows up tomorrow. Keep your fingers crossed. That is all I am really missing, except for a longer pitman arm which I will order tomorrow and have shipped overnight. I will have to get hardware and other small stuff, but I am pretty sure all of the ordered parts are here (other than suspension).

Let it be noted that Avon's owner volunteered his services and was DENIED!

lol

Mark
