Need new car ideas.

haha... i have a friend that has a line on 4BT's for a decent price right now.... i hope he can still get them in a couple years, because one day i WILL have a diesel jeep.
seafoam is good stuff. everytime i get a new ride, first thing i do is buy 2 cans: put a can in the gas tank, and 1/4 of a can in the oil, and let the brake booster vacuum hose suck up about 1/4 of the bottle, then put the rest of can #2 in the next tank of gas. seems to clean them out a lot. if that doesn't work, i give it a good dose of creek water :(

you dont want a 4bt in a jeep. they are the loudest, heaviest motor ever. they will rattle the unibody/the frame of any jeep to pieces.

Really? i didn't know that. i was seriously thinking of putting one in my grand waggy. what would you suggest as an alternative?
302 or a 350... whats it got in it now? 360?

i want diesel, though. i could make the 360 what i'd want in a gas burner, but diesel is the goal. i drove a dodge sprinter with a 4bt, and it isn't much heavier than the waggy empty, and i LOVED it. i think the trick is all in the mounts to absorb the vibrations.
