Need help in hybrid designing...

I am trying to plan a hybrid cage for the jeep. I have no idea what is good or is not. I am looking at all the other threads on here concerning hybrids and am gathering ideas on what i do and do not like. My biggest challenge is figuring out how to reuse the interior cage. I guess here are the things i would like to accomplish with the hybrid....

Reuse as much of the current interior cage as possible.
Fix the main issues with it, which is pretty much the B-pillars forward.
Tie the front (a stinger) and rear into the bumpers
Tie the vertical supports into the uni-body or the rock sliders.
Design some tube fender flares that tie the A-pillar exterior support to the front bumper and rear into the rock sliders and rear bumper.

How much will a center support for the windshield actually help in the case of a roll over?

There are two pics of a brown XJ, i think the first two pics. I cant remember his name but if any of you can that would be awsome.

If any one is good at photo editing and would like to help me sketch up some designs that would be awesome. I posted this in the chapter area in the hopes to keep out some of those who would rather criticize and not help. Thanks for the help.

What I would do if I were you would be to cut your interior cage right at the front of the b pillar. Make the outer halo attach via tubes and a plate inside that sandwich the roof and triangulate it, then make the a pillars tight to the body and into the fenders. Inside the fenders you have enough room to throw a tube out the front to tie into a stinger. The Tan jeep you have pics of are Erics. http://www.naxja.org/forum/showthread.php?t=1004420.

That was what i was thinking as well. But was also toying with the idea if the interior a pillar would help with strength to just keep it (maybe go with a plate style that i have seen before to tuck it closer to the dash) and the exterior a pillar would protect the windshield, and provide a base for the tube fenders. Thanks for the link I have been searching for that for two days lol.

It would be like having a cage inside of the cage... Way overkill and isn't the point of having the Hybrid cage besides protecting the pillar, but also save the valuable interior space. I remember that you kept banging your head/hat on your cage out in Moab.

yea i am getting fed up with that damn header bar. someone on CO4x4 made a good point about the interior cage being too short any way. I think I might have the builder cut the cage out in a way that allows me to save AS much of the tube as possible and then just go to town rebuilding it all with new tube and old tube. that way the interior is done right and the material is kept to a minimum.

im attempting to draw up a tube fender design ill post it up once i get it figured out.... see what you guys think.

I have read that over and over maybe three four times now.
I dont want to replace my fender with tube and steel I want to build a tube fender that brings supports down from the A-pillar to stinger support that will then have a tube flare built onto that. I'm having a hard time getting what i see in my head into words and i cant draw for nothin. Ill come up with something though.
