Looks like I will be retiring from the Air Force next summer. Gonna need some sort of employment. 21 years of service, Master Sergeant, aircraft maintenance. I also have IT experience and worked part-time at Sears as Loss prevention and the warehouse...any help is GREATLY appreciated!!!!

So what would you really like to do? What brings you to Bloomington?

Not real sure on what to do...Possibly something in sales, anything to do with vehicles...And my wife needs to finish college. I have family in French Lick, Worthington, and Muncie...

you got a place in Btown yet? if so, what part of town? I'm possibly looking for a fabrication guy in Columbus

I don't have any fab experience, but would LOVE to learn!!!

Something at Crane would be good as well. That way my military time would transfer...

I used to work LP for Famous Barr, which is now Macey's. Great people to work for. If you decide to go that route, I can make a couple of phone calls if needed.

That job has been by far the best job I've ever had. I loved it.

EDIT: Ever thought of contacting Mike Judge? You could make personal appearances as Hank! :D

Gene, I think you need to change your avatar so people quit asking you about NAPA.

He no longer works at NAPA, nor in Bloomington. NAPA is good though.

Crane is good, but the drive in the winter sux! Greene County relies on solar power for snow removal. I was the Director for Parks and Recreation in Monroe Co. about 12 - 13 years ago.

Check the IU physical plant as well, they have a lot of rolling stock. There was also a big truck/equipment shop south of town on the main drag that you might check out if you do diesel. My brother owns a pest control company in Owen County that covers Southern Indiana and Northern Kentucky. He's always looking for reliable self-starters who want to make money.

The drive to Crane might be interesting in snow, but we really don't get enough significant snow to get worked up about IMO.

What's the pest control company, if you don't mind?

Does Craig Fuson still own part of the NAPA in Bloomington?

Hey Gene!

Since when does NAPA do fab work?

Are you at the Bloomington or Columbus NAPA?

Now the world is getting smaller for sure. To answer the question that has been answered, yes he still does. He is co-owner of five stores. How do you know Craig?

He was my boss for the last three years and friend for quite a few more.
