NC trails

I live in the winston salem area of north carolina and i am looking for some new trails. anybody know of any with in the triad area??

The only places I know thats convenient to the triad and do-able in a stock XJ is Uwharrie National Forest.

Greg BIGWOODY found a place thats NW of greensboro (?) but from his pix it looks pretty extreme.

Tellico is kinda far from here, but it's worth a weekend trip... Southeast will be going there on the last weekend in Oct... Have skid plates and rocker armor

IIRC some of the local trails around here are getting shut down.

Well my xj is a lil far from stock 8.5 inchs and 35's. theres are some trails out here by my house in belews creek that arent too bad so if ya want to hit them up on a saturday or sunday EVAN C. give me a call 416-2582 my name is steve. any more info on the place NW of greensboro are you talking about the powerlines in stokesdale?

I might have to take you up on that offer. I just got my 96 XJ and am relatively knew to this whole scene. BTW Where in Uwharrie can you go?? is there a website or something that shows trail maps and such??
