PS: You picked some really good dates last year John ... weather was perfect!

I'll get with you guys the next few days and get some open dates together. Spring is a busy season ESPECIALLY April-May. The park has several annual events during those months but I may be able to squeeze it in especially if we get the numbers up. If I can get 100+ registered I can go all out with a raffle and such.

What about a spring break event? Mid-late March?? Say a.......... wish I were in Moab event? It'll be a little cool at night but not unbearable. During the day it should be t-shirt and jeans type weather. I can offer do a better $deal$ this time of year. Especially if we get a BIG NAXJA group.

Can we get this moved to the Informal trail ride forum? It may get the attention of people who don't check down here. Especially the Southeastern guys who are in driving distance.

If anyone is unsure or want to make a real vacation of it, Hot Springs has everything you can ask for in a vacation spot. Check out Hot Springs for plenty for the rest of the family.

The biggest problem I see with March is we have Winterfest the first week of that month. This could present some problems for some in the MWC.

Last year, Lesslimited commented (IIRC) that the months of April and May were busy and we were limited as to the times we should plan the trip. As it turned out, the weekend after Mothers Day was the weekend we chose, and the Park was not very busy at all. Of course, you would have a better handle on the schedule there, so it may be totally different for 2006.

It really all depends on the size of the group. If we are talking 10-20 jeeps ALMOST any weekend will be fine. I'd like to see 250!!! I thrive on organizational nightmares!! :wierd:

I'll have some dates available Thursday

Considering early June (between BOTW in May and Tellico in July) for a possible official MWC run.

No, I'm not putting up a poll, asking for suggestions, or starting a bitch thread.
PM me if you'd be interested in helping.

In Hot Springs?

Natural Bridge still looks cool to me.

I have wheeled around Hot Springs, and I have wheeled Natural Bridge. They are both nice, they are both about the same in scenic appeal. Either one would be nice.

However....a ORV park welcoming us? No contest there.

My thoughts exactly.

Superlift has some great wheelin' for just about any level of Jeep ... and the scenery is worth trip alone. I'm not entirely sure if Arkansas falls within the Midwest Chapter area in order for it to be a MWC Event,

Les

I'm thinking that Arkansas is a little closer than chicago is to me here in Southwest OK. I'm all up for a trip to Ark. (if I'm still in the country that is)

Did anyone ever come up with an event in Ark? I'm planning to go to the SAMS off road memorial day run at the Superlift ORV park. Is anyone else going to be there?
