Don't worry if its considered a pre-runner bumper. If you like it and stick it on your Jeep then take it pre-running, it is a pre-runner bumper. Don't worry so much about what people will think of you or your Cherokee. Build it so you like it and I guarantee you'll be happier with it in the long run.

MSD ignition (not sure what all is needed)

SummitRacing.com sells a couple varieties. I think the entry-level (daily driver) kit comes in at around $200. They have an "off-road ignition" (what could that possibly mean?) that I think was $400 in the catalog I have.
