Well I thought I'd just post this since like most, my Jeep has a thousand mystery clunks and rattles. This one was in the rear, going over bumps/ rough road. After going over every inch of my rear hatch trying to find this rattle using every method on forums for over a year I have found it.
It was my exhaust pipe banging against the corner of my gas tank. Fixed.
Ahhhh…quiet.
I know it's simple but maybe it will help someone. Was driving me nuts.
