My switch panel

I had 3 switches spaced out throughout the cab of my jeep. I was always reaching and then hoping to have remembered what switch went to what set of lights. Plus it looked like crap. I searched and found that some people had made their own, however I'm not that crafty. I found a place that makes gauge plates and switch panels so I contacted them about doing a cherokee one. They now do one.
Its awesome, it is 100xs better than anything I could have done, it looks really professional. The pictures don't really do it justice. It is back lit, and the guy will make them custom, so whatever labels you want on there, you will get.

Realistically, for what it is, $65 actually isn't bad. If you didn't want all the fancy shit on it, you could build it for way cheaper, but the fact that it's back lit and has cut outs of words is nice.

However, I don't like the fact that you can see the green light around the outside edge of the panel.

Yeah its cheaper if you don't want it lighted. Also, you can get it with whatever labels you want, I'm pretty sure if you wanted to do it with less switches they could probably do that too. after getting it, and seeing how it looks in person, the price isn't bad.

AS for the lights, a couple things. It does kinda glow from top and bottom, however, the camera seems to make is look worse. It seems like the issue is the thickness of the double sided tape used for mounting. I was thinking of using tape all the way around as kind of a gasket to keep everything tight, not sure.
