My new tow rig!!!!!

LOL.... don't we all. I am looking forward to being able to travel to further away events without necessarily having to worry about driving the jeep home. I have done it several times without issue, but to me the piece of mind is well worth it. Plus now I can do a lot of the work that needs to be done on it, and still have another DD.

Thats about what I need... not only to haul the XJ but the wife and 3 kids. Getting a little crowded in the XJ.

Yeah we don't have any kids yet, but I wanted something big enough that when we do it won't necessitate another upgrade. Hopefully this will be the last truck I have to buy for a long time.

I have a 24 foot utility trailer that I can haul my XJ on, but I would like to find a good deal on a big flat bed trailer that is big enough for me to build a small "camper" on the front of it, and haul my XJ on it.

By the way did I mention I only gave $6k for this truck, and I challenge anyone to find one this year model in this good of condition. The seller bought it when it had 11 miles on it brand new, and I bought it from him. It honestly looks like it has never been off pavement at all, and it is spotless inside and out. Very little wear on anything, tires practically new, new exhaust system, and not even the smalled sign of any leaks or drips.

Congratz on the new rig man. A tow vehicle is DEFINITELY in DG's and my future (I won't have to worry about emissions on my XJ that way...LOL!)

LOL i hear ya...... it is definately a lot different from driving the XJ. Feels like I am in a tank. I think I could almost lay down flat accross the rear seat.

Yeah my XJ is still plenty streetable, its just I am not too keen on taking it on long trips to go wheeling. I am sure it won't be long before it will be representing .
