Looks awesome John! Are you still going to run the Truxxus tires when you get them?

-Jeremy

Yes. I've got my fingers crossed that they show up in time for EJS.... If so, I'll spend a couple of hours swapping them out. If not, no biggie I'll run the Krawlers. I'd love to have the stickies in Moab. :)

Are you gonna be at EJS? I think Matt is too right? You'll see me in the big red monstrosity out there on the 19th - 21st

You gettin' invited on any of the Media Runs?

Not that I am aware of. This is my first Moab event, never been there before...so I'm not real sure as to what all goes on. We've done it a couple years now, but the old men of the company usually go, and they just sit in a vendor booth all day.

Looks like it's coming together nicely, John. Look forward to seeing it on the trail.

When all is said and done.... tube fenders, crusher corners, etc... and after a test run or two, it will get painted Sublime Green.

Build plans (so far) include:

Retain stock 4.0 HO motor, /w some normal bolt-on goodies
Swap XJ AW4 overdrive auto trans.
Atlas 2 speed Transfer case.
Link the front end /w coil overs, 2-3" stretch
Spring over the rear, leaf swap, 5-6" stretch (100-102" wheelbase)
Retain my current axles (HPD44, 8.8, 5.13's, DETROITS), wheels, tires, etc....although it MAY end up /w 37's on it.

Full cage, Tube Fenders, rockers, comp. cut 1/4's, etc, etc, etc.

J

Love the Sublime idea... you must be a Mopar guy...:kissyou:

Big thanks to Eli and Sean for their help last night! We got the AW4 trans. all wired up, lights wired up, finished mounting the rear flares, etc. Fired it up and it runs too! More fr. axle progress today.

OK, had to do some serious booty-fabbing to make this thing a roller to go get painted on monday. The custom front lift blocks/shocks we all Eli's idea ;) Check out this good stuff:

you should take it back to where you bought it from after its all finished.

i love doing that when a rig looks nothing like it did when you bought it!

love the front susp but i thought blocks were illegal in the front?

way better than the 4 link setup.

git r done
