Got up this morning to see the left hand small window in the rear door broke. F$%s took my stereo, speaker box, a Mag Light, and my damn CB radio! Very annoyed. Seven other cars were hit as well, they might have gotten a good print off a CD in my car (no good prints off any other car), we'll see if it's my print or not.

Also, this happened in a nice area of Redondo Beach, three blocks from the Police station, them boys had balls.

VERY pissed off Sequoia

Hope they catch the bastards.

A couple of weeks ago at church our priest warned us about cars being broke into during services. I've gotten to the point where everything comes out (CB, tools, Stereo faceplate, etc.) until I take it somewhere.

Same thing happened to mine about a year ago. Then 4 months ago someone broke into my shop at 9pm (it is attached to the house and we were home), they took 2-1horse bench grinders, 3 angle grinders, all my air tools, my autodark welding hood, a bunch of stereo stuff, and too much other stuff to mention. They did this all at 9 pm when we were sitting 20 feet away watching TV. I hope I can be re-incarnated (sp?) as an insurance commissioner. I would make those bastid insurance companies misserable and enjoy every minute of it. That whole replacing my tools thing was the worst experience of my life.

That totally sucks. I hate when I have to leave my XJ out at night. damn people just do not respect anyones property anymore.

It really sucks when that happens, I hate to hear about that happening to anyone. My XJ has been broken into twice this past year. The second time they didn't get anything, but they trashed my passenger side lock and bent the door. I have 0 deduct comprehensive, but its still a huge inconvenience. I was out for blood after it happened the second time. Probably a good thing I don't know who did it. You should feel fortunate on one thing though. At least the police in your area will investigate it. Here in Atlanta they won't even come out. They handle it over the phone. They're really going to cut down on crime by not investigating it. WTF? :smsoap:

Oh yeah, I live in a really nice part of Atlanta too. It doesn't really seem to make that much of a difference where you live.

Sure it does.

Hey G. There is a house for sale on the next street over. Move to my town and you can leave all your doors unlocked and your garage open all night. Hell, when I went to Moab last year, we left the door unlocked so the neighbor kid could feed the pets. There hasn't been a house broken into or a vehicle robbed in this town in 2 years.

Thats good to hear that there are still places out there like that. I guess I've just been living in a big city for too long.

Fortunately, no one has broken into any of my families vehicles. They only tend to go after cars parked in the street which is wierd b/c almost every house in my neighborhood has a driveway that can fit anywhere from 3-8 cars (I can prolly fit almost 10 or 12 in mine). plus ours are parked behind the house. I have had my house broken into though, and I knew who did it, but they moved before we could prove it (the whole family is wanted here in Augusta now, kids included). Our neighbors look out for anything suspicious and we do the same.

Thieves SUCK! That is why I kepe my toy in the shop and the alarm armed when no one is around! It doesn't hurt haveing a brother-in-law as a deputy either. They all park and turn around in my parking lot! Hope they get em Sequoia!
