So where's the damage??

So thats how you get those flairs off...... :worship:

Meanwhile, Mikey's "trail" rig sits all nice and safe at home in the driveway ...

Is the trail rig as tall as the street rig yet? :wave1:

Thats how they are supposed to come off, makes it easier to take the nuts off the back that hold the strips on. I peel mine off on a regular basis, gave me a good incentive to antiseize all the nuts.... Pulled them all on the XJ and the TJ's yesterday, then used clear undercoat on the area that is covered by the flares and bolted them back up again. The dirt that was getting trapped in there was starting to scratch the paint which leads to rust, figured I'd get ahead of it...

Ouch,

Looks like my XJ after the RI chicken run!

Update on my trail rash,

1. control arm mounts S all ( 8 )weld and reinforced
2. new fender and flare installed ( trashed the fender from driving w/ the LCA busted off)

must do s ,

1. install RE LCAs
2 install RE track bar
3. install RE SB disco s
