My first Jeep/my newest money pit!

Nope, it was an area set to be a neighborhood but from what I understand the job got cancelled after they had started grading the area so now it's for sale. I usually don't like ''trespassing'' so to speak, but this has become a very common local spot for people, there are easily anywhere from 15-40 people there at a time either in 4x4s or ATVs/dirt bikes.

i need help with an hd conversion on my 1990. its all done but when i turn off the lights with the engine still running i have to flash the high beams to gt the pass. side light to turn off. it has a harness. the light company said it the headlight delay relay in the jeep. from what i have seen its the relay in the harness sticking open. any thoughts on fixing it? any links for a good harness to use with the kit i have?

You saving up for long arms? or drop brackets?

i have drop brackets but I will be getting long arms by the summer. My drop brackets do flex fairly good but my buddy's xj flexes about 3-4" more with ease and we have the same set up basically

I was thinking about going with long arms after tax season initially, but I think I'm just going to regear for now and put some money in my wagon to make more power with it. haha I'm kind of ready to just get the Jeep out there and have some fun, I've almost had it for a year now and I feel it's finally getting to that point of being solid. I just want to regear, get that Novak cable setup, and throw a CD player in it. (currently doesn't have a radio)

well I plan on long arms at some point as well but with my extended brake lines I am getting alot more flex than I was before. Drop brackets aren't terrible when set up right

I'm torn between 4.10 or 4.56 gears....I can get a great deal on 4.10s but not sure if I should just go ahead with 4.56s. Hmmmm

Yea, I figured it's not a DD so I'd rather have the lower gearing in the end. We're probably going to go back out to the grove on the 23rd.

Thats my plan. 4.56s will be a huge difference from the 3.07s I've been on.

We did an extended braided stainless steel rear brake line and the pinion end ujoints at Stumps the other day. Today I got my front gears and the 8.25 gears should be shipping tomorrow. I also got a HD Dana30 diff cover while I was at it.

Yesterday I went wheeling and I realized it was pretty close to the day I bought my XJ last year, after getting home and looking back it turns out yesterday was 1 year to the day since I bought it! I had to pull my NSS Saturday and clean it, had no problems with starting sense!
