Hey everyone! Name's Zach. Here ill be going through a long awaited project, my All Purpose Daily Driver XJ. I'll be including pictures of accessories and mods, and a description. Any questions please let me know!

Picked it up Tuesday April 23rd with 157k, great looking white exterior, flawless tan and black interior. Completely Stock!

You know you got a good vehicle when you can drive it home same day of purchase and its ready to take me back to work the next day. Anyways , I took some great pictures that hopefully I can upload tomorrow after work.

More to come!

Welcome!

You're not too far from chedisme on this forum, he's over in Middletown.

Plans for the jeep? Any interest in coming to our annual Chapter event in June @ Rausch Creek, PA?

Hey guys! Chedisme your not far at all, that'd be cool to go to some events. Sorry for the late message, you know how Friday nights can go haha. Plans for the jeep are obvious exterior mods, roof rack, bumpers etc.., lights setup, just gotta find the right led bars. Not lookin to spend a grand on lights alone. I really like those Led headlights but 300 a piece.. not too sure. Proabably a snorkel and skid plate, just for coverage of the most important parts. Definitely a lift however its my DD and I commute 40 min to and from work, trying to get a job closer.

Let me see if I can upload pictures... wish me luck.

Only rust is on tailgate around lisc. Plate, wheels, a little above driver door corner, and in between flares. Other than that its very clean (not for long)

looks good I like the tan on the white.

Id save you $ and skip the snorkel. you have to be stupid deep in water to need one. Iv had mine up to the head lights in water with out one and didnt take any water in to the motor. and even had the bow wake wash over my hood on some crossings without an issue.

if you ever need a hand with anything let me know. id be glad to help out.

hey nice jeep....nice to see another local jeeper....i'm in east fishkill in hopewell junction if you ever need parts or help..let me know i gotta welder haha

Thanks guys for the suggestions! Chedisme thanks for the advice, I just don't wanna be stuck but sounds like you haven't needed one so I guess i dont need a snorkel but its difficult when you have my mentality of id rather have it and not need it, than need it and not have it. Hammered those look sick! I wonder how much they run haha. Outlander your about 15 min away from me, I live 2 min from the galleria mall. I'm looking for some upgrades, necessities first like off road bumper grill guard and roof rack so if you know of any let me know. Also if you guys have questions or need help just let me know maybe I can assist you.

Painting the flares and trim today after a nice cleaning haha

ah, the galleria. i went to school in new paltz.

i wouldnt do the snorkel either. if you feel like buying a kit, get this:

if you wanna DIY, you have a couple options:

http://www.naxja.org/forum/showpost.php?p=244778384&postcount=23

i had a setup like the third link i posted in my old XJ and it worked great. i will be doing something like the THOR intake eventually as i dont have ANY room for a tube on the driver's side with my larger master cylinder and relocated washer fluid bottle.

nice I drive passed the galleria all the time on 9 to go to Molts yard, auto zone, and hyde park etc...likewise if you need any help I have some parts, and if you like those rock rings I have a set of 5 15x8 v5 with those rock rings already on w/tabs from detours I need sell cuz of my waggy project...and a power trax for a c 8.25 ..either way keep in touch I'll be glad to help a fellow enthusiast out

Hammered sounds good and yeah I look every hour haha. And outlander thanks man, my wheels are pretty bad so I'm just gonna get others. Not sure if I should get replacements or get oversized tires 15x8 steelies and a lift and save myself money in the long run..
