My 242 SYE solution/write up. (56k beware)

Used some of your idéas and made a realy simple sye-conversion on my NP242. works very well so far! Thx!

Where did you get the yoke from?

I'm piecing together everything I need for my 4''ish lift. I have almost everything to get started, except addressing the SYE for my 242. I came across this thread and I like how the yoke has the extra contact on the shaft.

Has anyone else gone this route since 2008?? Any updates or opinions on a better sye option are appreciated.
Also what yoke was used in this build?
 
i dont know what machine shop would only charge 20-25 to machine that yoke properly. to make it concentric, it's a little bit of setup involved plus a close diameter fit. you're probably looking at closer to $100 if a shop would even waste their time with it. i know i wouldnt. not knocking the job or conversion or anything, just saying you might want to shop around for pricing on the lathe work before you spend the money on the parts.
