I need to know what its gonna sound like with a Cherry Bomb turbo muffler. I want it to sound deep not like a bumblebee on steroids.

The best deep tone sounding muffler ive heard was a walker turbo muffler...wasnt loud, but was deep toned.

Like I posted before, the Cherry Bomb Turbo sounds good. It's not tinny or wimpy or ricey at all. It's really beefy sounding. Mine's on a 98 with the high flow cat and a turn down tip right after the muffler. For the price, it can't be beat!

The only xj ive seen with a glass pack on it backfired on decel something terrible... coulda been caused by another problem though.

Im not sure which was worse, his backfire or my flowmasters angry bee sound

backfiring on decel could be an exhaust leak or intake mainfold leak. either a bad intake/exhaust manifold gasket or a cracked header.

I have ran Flowermaster 40 Delta Flow, it sounded pretty good, then i went to dynomax super turbo sucked sounded like stock, then put a cherry bomb pro on it sounded great. Now i have a glasspack 18" but will be replacing it with a 8" cherry bomb glasspack.

Yes, a cat provides back pressure so a Cat will change the sound... Usually deeper...
