Mud Tires

we just got the new BFG km2's in my shop today and they look very nice. havnt had a vehicle to put them on yet but cant wait
to hear the reviews..

Just put Mickey Thompson Baja MTZ's on a month ago, and I love them...I was running MTR's before and while they were ok, they did get pretty loud, but the MTZ's are very quiet.

those mud tires look like crap! how the heck can you grip anything but on those 2 chanels on the out side?
they LOOK cool... but i question their performance.

I got me a set of procomps regular ole mud terrains and I can hardly hear them. They came balanced, put em on, aint touched 'em since and for about 5000 miles of about 80% road use they aint hardly worn at all. Plus for speeds under around 70 mph you can hardly hear a thing.

yea x2, i see them alot around here but they are normally on the pavement pounders like the new lifted fords and chevys. the guys who are afraid to get their trucks dirty. so im pretty sure they are a street/mud tire. pretty ugly in my opinion.

Interco Trxus M/Ts. Cheap, QUIET, last 30k miles, and are good in the mud. Certainly better than MT/Rs in sloppy stuff, and they're great on wet roads. Best snow tire I've ever seen.

Sidewalls are the weakpoint, but no worse than BFG M/Ts. I've put mine through a lot of nasty crap and had only one failure...one that you'd expect out of any radial short of a Krawler.

did you have any problems getting the trxus m/ts balanced?

Airsoft pellets solve all Interco balancing issues.

I'd never do anything else.
