Moving to the Cheese State

The Pipe Line and Mc Caslin are the only places I know to wheel in WI. You may want to check out MadXJ, I think they run those places once in a while.

I'm in Appleton. As Bloose said, the Pipe Line and Mc Caslin are about it for public land. There are however lots of places that have good wheelin'. The best way to find them is to get into one of the clubs in the state. That will open up your options a bit. PM me if you want/need any info on the area.

I am from Green Bay. As already stated the Pipeline and McCaslin Park are the only popular places in the area to go wheeling. I know of a couple of places to go wheeling with owners ok that are fun and challenging. Mainly mud and hills. I am with the Wisconsin Off Road club out of Crivitz Wi. Very nice group of people up there. We maintain the Pipeline trail and are in full cooperation with the local DNR to keep the trail open. We are doing a Pipeline cleanup this coming up weekend on Saturday the 21st. If you are interested in joining us for a day of trail maintenance and getting to know a good group of people let me know and I will get you some more info. I would like to get to know some people south of me so we can all get together and do some off roading. Any questions let me know.

Kim.

Thanks a lot. I should be there in July for a while and that will be my first time to see my XJ since I bought it. I will be living in Weyawega as soon as I get out of the military so I'm just trying to prepare. I'm going to be doing some work on my XJ when I get there on leave in July and I would really like to find some shops or some place to get parts from if some thing goes wrong. I don't really want to drag parts back from Oklahoma when I go there to visit my family.

I'm from Neenah which is near appleton and about 20 minutes away from Weyu...there is a shop in sun prarie about an hour south called J&L four wheel drive..they have a nice showroom and they get and fabricate all my jeep stuff for me. check out their website or just swing in the store as the guys can give you some ideas as to roading and always have cool jeep stuff laying around.

They have new owners. The ownership had told us, that they will be adding ummm, 'ricer' type parts to their selection..

I'm suprised you didn't pimp Ultimate 4 Wheel Drive Performance in Neenah http://ultimate4wheeldriveperformance.com/index.html

Here is an outdated link to some older clubs in Wisconsin.
http://www.wi4wda.org/membership.html All the clubs still exist, but some are not members of W4WDA any longer.

For a current list of W4WDA clubs this is the link
http://www.w4wda.org/clubs.asp

Drop a line at http://www.wohva.com or http://www.mw4wda.org/forum/index.php?board=10.0 and I'm sure you'll get a bunch of help
