I'm just north of DFW. There is an place to play in Bridgeport which isn't too far away, but I don't know of any events happening there anytime soon.

Our next scheduled event after Nov. 14 will be in March at Superlift in Hot Springs.

Two pretty good clubs to get involved with.
Bridgeport is a new place that isn't quite officially opened yet but has had it's first event already. Its going to be a pretty good place to go.
There are bunch of other areas to go within a couple hours drive!
