yeah its a long snout 12w crank... which means the motor is going to have awesome low end torque but also means i need to have a spacer machined to get the balancer all the way down on the crank... as of right now motor is built, in the jeep, and bolted to the trans (the hard part as me and adam found out ;) ) need to dig up a few parts to replace some ones that we found were busted.

funny thing is it turns out the old head was so warped it was allowing coolant to leak into cylinders 3 and 4... so basically ive been wheeling the piss outta this thing with a mildly blown headgasket...

as of now it needs to be wired and the radiator needs to go in but its in the jeep :D awesome props to mark, adam and especially josh who let us crash his place today to get the motor in... you guys are awesome!

Good job!! I'm glad you got "in" the Jeep.

on a side note i wish i wasnt the black sheep outcast in the SE. ya know with me all the way on the coast lol, see because then i would damn sure have come over to help!

heck yeah man... if you ever do happen to make it over here to wheel or whatnot, at least you know you got a lot of places to choose from to crash for the night ;)

heads up for anybody doing this with a long snout 258 crank, hesco sells a spacer that is properly machined WITH a keyway for the crank
