Motor Mounts

Here were my faulty mounts....

you'll need a floor jack that can reach your oil pan a 2x4 i think an assortment of 3/4th socket, or wrench... maybe 5/8th. when i did mine, which were the daystar poly bushing (black) they werent an exact fit. and i had to trim up the poly a bit. but you should look into a hayne, or chilton repair manual for the jeep cherokee to see how its done

Take the bolts/nuts holding the mount to the frame out first. Then the long throughbolt in the mount itself.

If you do it the other way around, you have to find the sweet spot where there is no load on the throughbolt and it's a PITA.

Which is best mount block to use on a 4.0L with an Edlebrock header? It sounds like opinions are split between MORE and Brown Dog, but what about the bell housing cracking issue, what is the likelyhood of that happening?

I got a set of the browndog mounts for my old jeep took me a whole 40 mins to install them and OMG are the beffy and they have MUCH less vibes then the BOMB PROOP mount's i currently have on my new jeep!
