After a horrible year - easily the worst luck year we have ever had in our 25+ years as a team - we decided to try to tame the desert one more time this year. This will also serve as a good shake-down and tuning session to get ready for next season.

Start/finish is out at Slash X. Totally different race format too - we run a bunch of short laps, then move to a different section of course and run 2 longer laps. With the short laps this should be a great race for spectating.

FAIR is also looking for mechanically inclined people to help in the pits.

Race is Saturday, December 4.

I always thought an XJ would be great for that. Cut the front springs, some blocks in the rear, some old KYB shocks...oh yeah!

Spring under in the rear with an add-a-leaf and the coils cut in the front, sway bars, and low profile tires. Today we're swapping in an 8.8 with 3.73's, a LSD, and disc brakes.
