We have picked up a few new items as of late for the farm. We scored another military surplus buy in the form of a 5 ton rig w/ only 30K on it w/ a Cummins diesel, runs like a champ and we just had a gooseneck ball, receiver and pintle hitch riged out for it, so it should haul about everything we ever need it to. All for teh grand total of $2300 including the work for the hitches. Cheapest form of HP that we have found yet and it even has a new paint job on it as well as new upholstery and headliner after it just came back from Iraq :dunno:

Next up is the duece-n-half that we have had a while. It is riged out as a service truck/mobile shop for our pumper trucks. You name it, it is probably in there...minus oriental hookers, but I am working on that. It is a multi fuel unit and only has like 25K miles on it.

We picked this up about a month ago, it is an Agco Terragator, it is 5 wheeled and has a 4500 gallon tak on it. No it does not pull wheelies, but I will continue to try :D It is also set up w/ hydros on the back and has an injection toolbar for it for injecting the manure, or it can surface apply through means of a splash shield.

And this is a pic of the original MAN Trucks that I had posted up earlier this year. They have a fresh coat of paint (as you can tell they are not camo anymore!) and they are equipped w/ 8500 Gallon tankers. They can discharge 8500 gallongs of pig shit in under 3 minutes! So what I am saying is make sure where you are walking around this machine :D

Well, that is it for now. I am sure we will find some other military surplus in the future and I will continue to post up. We did score 4 fuel barrels, but I did not think to take pictures of those..you've seen one fuel barrel you have seen them all.

Cheeseman-OUT!

Once again wishing there was decent mil surp in the area.

My buddy Robert would go crazy over all that stuff Tyler, he's real big into the military stuff. He even has a deuce-and-a-half but his has the military open cargo area. Good stuff, looks like fun :D

Damn! Pig farmers have some cool shit(pun intended)! :D

we have traveled to South carolina, Texas, Arkansas and Iowa for this stuff. The TerraGator came out of Indiana. The only things that we have got in Missouri are the Duece and the 5 ton.

:pig: the other white meat :D

This stuff if neat to have around, but trust me, when shit breaks...it sucks!

Awsome doody flinging machines!

we can sling more shit then a used car dealers convention :D

BOB, I have seen guys get blasted w/ this stuff that have walked behind a truck when it is offloading...it is not pretty. If they did not have a splash shield it would be a shit cannon coming out of a 8" pipe :D

So its about the same thing as someone walking behind you after you've had one of your bacon and nacho cheese pig out's? :D

Those 5-ton trucks are what I've worked on for the last 9 years.

Once, a driver plowed right through a brick building just idleing in gear in one of them. She was coming around a corner but just kept turning. :dunno:

So, everyone is gonna ride/drive these new toys at the Pig Gig, right?

Well, considering they are in MO, probably not Josh! :laugh3:

but it's pink before you kill 'em, so it should be the other, other pink meat.
Damn ... that's a hell of a perspective Wheeler, but I guess it's fundamentally true ... you sic fuk!

Ever heard a hog pant?? :laugh3:

It would be a good time, but these are loacted in northern Missouri. I could drive the 5-ton that far, but at a top speed of 55mph it would take forever to get there, and I would be deaf by the end of the trip :listenmus

Deaf and broke. I wouldn't want to pay your fuel bill for that either.
