MJ driveshaft hitting crossmember

Hey guys, new to the forum here. I have an originally '91 Jeep Comanche Eliminator/Manual Trans/2 wheel drive converted to what is now an Auto/4 wheel drive, with a newer 4.0 motor and some other upgrades such as power windows, etc. Since purchasing a year ago, I have completed an 80% install of a lift on it. I have 5.5 in Rubicon springs in the front, SOA springs in back, adjustable control arms etc. The issue I am having is that the front drive shaft is hitting the crossmember. I can't exactly figure out what the issue is since I don't have another truck to compare it to. It is difficult for me to compare to pics online. Is the crossmember the incorrect one(possibly for the previous manual)? Is it on backwards? I really hope someone here can tell what the issue is and help me. I feel retarded and it is driving me crazy. I will post pics...

The cross member drop moves the drive shaft closer to the cross member. Also, visually it looks like the transmission mount needs to be replaced. Check if it is broken or spongy.

What condition are the motor mounts in. I just wonder if the passenger side motor mount is shot and letting the engine sit lower on one side.

That in combination with the t-case drop I can see that being an issue.

I'd replace the transmission mount either way.

Replace the trans mount to be sure, but your problem isn't the tcase drop or the mount, it's that you used the 5 speed trans crossmember. It keeps the tranny mount about 3/4" further down (that recess in the middle that the bushing bolts into...) than the auto one, which is causing driveshaft interference.

Slap an auto one on and you should be good to go. Oh, and pass that manual crossmember to someone with a manual or doing a manual swap who needs one, they aren't all that easy to find in the boneyard sometimes.

242 tcase? ive ran a manual crossmember on a couple diff auto xj's with out issue

wow....get rid of the lastara transfer case drop and replace the crossmember to an auto one like Kastein said.

Didn't even see the tcase drop... yep that is definitely contributing.

Probably did it to avoid spending money on getting an SYE....
