I don't know anyone directly but I do some charity work through the VFW post for a group called hidden heros. It is a group that helps familys of National Guard and Reserves who are deployed over seas.

My best friend out of high school joined the Marine Corps right after we graduated. His family and mine are really close, and it's only hard when we know he's overseas. (right now he is stationed at 29 palms in san diego).
