Hey there, my little o' E9000 hasn't had power out for a while now and since my fender is now destroyed from being sandwiched on a rock because i could not release the tension i figure i'd try to see if anyone has any ideas on why it doesn't work any more or maybe some things to try. I have already replaced the power out solenoid, the remote is working, and i do get power to both solenoids but not full power to the power out solenoid (only about 7.5-8 volts). It makes a loud click but no action. So any suggestions to save me a call would be spectacular, Thank You again!

Ya I was going to when I go back to work in 2 days. Just checking to see if anyone had any input before i call.

Does it work if you bypass the remote by triggering the solinoid at the solinoid?
Does it work if you switch the IN and OUT solinoids?
What is the battery voltage?
When it clicks, is there voltage on the output?, did you check the votage with the motor disconnected?

The in and out solenoids are different i can't swap them. There is a little over 13 volts at the main switch and the in solenoid while spooling in. There is only 7-8 volts on the out solenoid while trying to power out.

Motor connected or not?
What is the voltage on the INPUT side of that solenoid during the same conditions?
What is the current draw of the winch during IN and trying OUT?
What is 1st in the series of the positive cable from the battery? IN or OUT?
Have you tried bypassing the solenoid?

Just to update. I spoke with Milemarker and they said to send them the solenoid box. So i did just so and recieved it back today. It was 6 months past the warranty on electronics and the replaced the bad solenoid and tested it and sent it back to me, with no charge. I never thought they would do such a thing with an electrical problem. Very pleased with their service. Thank You Milemarker !
