You can definitely fit a bigger tire than a 40. Check out xjdb.com; there are pictures of XJs on 44s (and bigger :gag: ).

i really doubt you'll need that much lift. since your putting new axles, go with a smaller coil and you can build some lift into the spring perch.

I wanna run a very big tire. and now here is the coilspring love of it , hes runnnin coils up front and quarter eliptacals in the back so i want coils all over know what i mean?

going extremly tall in an 89 and im not gona find the amount of lift i want in just one 8 inch spring. Has anyone ever hear of welding two coils together t make a monster coil or am i crazy for thinkin it

funny ight be a littl un sturdy

trail only it will be welded like 3 coils down on each as well as clamped i need to get like 14 inches

Id go for a 1 ton frame, with 2 welded F350 Coils welded together front and rear. SCH 40 4 link front and rear too. Then triple TC's. A 460 with a Stupercharger and 8 Holley 2 barrels. Duallie 56" tires front and rear. That would be mad tyte yo. Ud get some mad FleX 2 Yo!
