Meet N greet

someone in OC or SD needs to set one up, nobody is willing to drive out west (even though traffic is easier going west than east after work )

I have the space and the BBQ, we can do a members only pot luck any time this summer on a sunday. would be nice to get a couple dozen folks together and just hang out :D

x2 on that action! :)

yeah, having a Meet in greet over out this way would be easier for those out in the OC as they would be going against traffic.

What's a good spot out here with enough parking for all our mall crawlers?

We had one yesterday, where were you? Peter J Ford came down from Southern Canada. You could have hitched a ride, he even asked if anyone wanted to carpool :D

asada fries!

seriously though there are spots right off the freeway but its all ghetto, pollo ala brasa has bad ass food and plenty of parking but its in a shady spot. this is why i suggested a weekend bbq.

Julio, they are posted in the members business forum.

Didn't I put you in charge of arranging the next Meet and Greet?

El Dorado park in east Long Beach is pretty sweet and has lots of parking and bbq spots. Might be a good candidate. It's right on the OC line so it's kinda central for a lot of people. Or we could just have it in the King Taco parking lot.

We haven't had one in a while. What gives? Do you guys not like to hang out anymore?

:kissyou:

I seem to recall that there was one one June 11 in Pasadena. That was less that two months ago. I'm not saying we shouldn't have another soon. I'm just saying it hasn't been all that long.

I had my b-day there in 2009 or 2010 can't remember, spent 1200$ on goodies a bounce house and a street taco caterer, and 6 people showed up because its costs money to get in (even though I pre-paid for 25 people at the gate).

good luck with that.

Huh, that sucks. Didn't think it cost money to park there, but then again I wouldn't know:dunno:

Weren't you glad you had all that room in the bounce house with only 6 people showing up? :roflmao::moon::wave1:

actually no, I was pretty pissed off because 40+ people said they were coming and just less than half of them said they were bringing kids :looser:

The SD guys have one almost every week while we have one once in a blue moon. Yeah, that's wack!

We need a place that sells decent burgers and cheap beer. :P

The shack Burgers in Playa del rey comes to mind. But then again, y'all wont drive all the way there.

3rd monday every month down here.

then there's the one on the first tuesday every month in Escondido.
