measuring for bumpstops

I need to measure for bumpstops and don't know a good way to do it. Maybe just find a place to flex the jeep out? or is there a set thickness for lift height?

Go flex it out, when the shock is completely compressed, measure and add another inch and then translate that measurement into hockey pucks!

At least that is how I did my fronts.

We always use loading docks or forklifts for our mall crawling urges. I recommend this be done closer to night, people always give us dirty looks when we do this.

i made it kind of easy =) i removed the coil, put one jack under the transmission brace and 1 under the axle, lifted the axle as high as i could and with whatever i couldnt get by lifting it up, i lowered the jack holding the jeep up. basically i figured out i needed 2 hockey pucks. my friend told me to go 3 though because i guess it's different when both tires get compressed at the same time like when hitting a big dip at high speeds. how much lift do you have?

if you know where the Pancake House is on university and orchard is. go back behind all the little stores on the east side are and theres a loading dock that you can flex out on.....

Had some fun on it today :D
