. got my 1991 Cheep Cherokee Laredo for sale.
We can cut to the chase here.
The List of all the stuff done to it:
-NV3550 manual transmission (previous owner, friend of mine had it put in at a shop in VA beach.. was told roughly 62,000 miles on it. shifts like BUTTER.)
-B&M short throw shifter w. grenade shift knob
-Novak transfer case shifter 4x4 works perfect. low and high.
-NP242 Transfer case (leaking a little bit.. not enough to drip more so Seeping.)
-1998 Jeep Grand Cherokee Bottom end (has a Girdle on it...was swapped by a shop when trans was put it. roughlly 90k miles on it)
-1995 Jeep cherokee Head (again swapped at the shop in VA beach when everything else was swapped. roughly 110k miles.)
**everything engine wise was cleaned, the head was hot tanked and cleaned, and everything ENGINE wise runs awesome.***
-Exhaust has a bunch of exhaust leaks in it that i never really cared to fix.\
-Ruggid Ridge SYE
-Heavy duty Spicer U-Joints
-Custom Front and rear Drive shafts done by a machine shop in VA beach
-Ford 8.8 Rear end with disc brakes and LSD. (fairly new rotors and pads.)
-**PARKING BRAKE DOES NOT WORK. jeep will come with BRAND NEW ford 8.8 e brake cables.... new in box***
-Rough Country 4 link Long Arms with 6.5 in Lift coils and Rear leafs.
-4:10 Gears F & R (pulls good and gets DECENT gas milage.. the gear ratios in the NV3550 (jeep wrangler transmission) has shorter gears than a stock cherokee trans...
-PSC Power steering pump and cooler
-Crusty's Front tie rod with all Moog Tie rods. Replaced by previous owner roughly 10k miles ago.
-front and rear diffs were just changed with Redline gear oil.
-rear drop shackles
-adj. trac bar urethane bushings.
-water pump, and radiator were also changed when motor was swapped out. will come with a Electric fan i just got for it.
-TopHat roofrack with unwire hella lights and 4 spot lights. (just put the rack on from my old white jeep. wires arent wired up yet...)
-interior is Line X'd
-Grill is Line X'd
-ABSOLUTLY NO RUST under the jeep. ( i was surpised as well).
-only bit of rust that i have noticed so far is some minor surface rust where the rear hatch closes. again it is very minor and i will be sanding it and painting it soon.
-35x12.50 Micky thompson MT's on 15x10 steelies
-BRAND NEW front timken wheel bearings, Rotors, Calipers, and pads.
-SS brake lines in front
-BRAND NEW STARTER
-Its got a ton more on it i just cant remember at the moment.
THE BAD:
-ebrake doesnt work as stated above
-blinkers dont work (its the switch on the actualy steering column.)
-Wipers only work on the highest speed
-Body isnt in the most pristine condition as clearcoat is peeling and hood is faded.
the good:
-NO RUST AT ALL.
-I DAILY DRIVE THIS THING. TAKEN on hour long trips. IT HAS NOT ONCE DIED ONE ME. for the last 4 months. every day.
im putting new wheel bearings, rotors, and calipers on right now at my shop.
Front and rear driveshafts by gregorys machine shop.
RC long arms
tire life.
Ford 8.8 rear end
