Grinding will be done! in due time and all the corners where chamfered with the grider for better penitration! It'll shape up just fine. not real worried about the looks of the stuff thats under the jeep and gona be rusted up and paint chipped in a few weeks anyway!
Not my first rodeo! but thanks for the advise.

you say it'll be rusted in a few weeks, yeah, it will, cause you didnt prep it, so you cant paint it properly...

Oh I thought about that but all the load on it will be flat just needs to keep the bumper from twisting downward. Had the samething on my old bumper worked fine. even pulled some pretty heavy trailers and no downward movement. Not that the angle is overkill or anything but the strap is what I had so I used it.:gee:That flat stock isn't going to do Sh*t,you need at least soma angle or tube.

Got a little done today
Cut some braces to go back to the unibody, installed em, made 4 nut strips 2 will go inside the frame and the other two will be welded to the bumper to bolt through to the nuts that fit inside the frame! Should be strong as Hell. now just gota do the grinding and paint ect.
Tomorrow I start the tube fenders got the panels back from being rolled a few days ago so.
Hopefully this will start coming together faster now that I'm feeling better and all the visiting family is gone.

Didn't get shit done today worked on the stand for the bender for a couple hours then got called in to go to a temp work for the rest of the day. More to come next week! As for the rest of this weekend. IMA do some way overdue wheelin! And if I bang things up or get some body damage I'll just fix that as part of the project LOL
Note to self don't buy used steel:jester: what a PITA to get all the rust off took several hours with a sander/buffer. Didn't want to use a grinder cause I don't wana have to cover the grinder marks!
Opps guess it's not in the pics. :hang:Yes sir sure did. It's in the pics somewhere!
