Eeeee I was told there were the time I drove my '90, I think the people (unnamed....*cough* Dustin) who told me that were politely fibbing though because I ended up denting two fenders and damn near smashing a liftgate after rolling back down a rather steep hill. Maybe they just didn't lead me along the bunny trails.

I am still planning on being there Saturday sometime.

Just have to find time this week to get my adj. trac bar and longer brake lines on.

I am finishing putting in the front locker this week and should be good to go by Saturday. We plan on coming up mid morning on Saturday and staying for the majority of the day....unless I break (as usual!) We have decided to wheel Kirksville on Sunday, so we will get a bit of different wheeling over the holiday. If anyone else want to wheel Kirksville on Sunday, they are welcome to tag alng with us.

you bet your ass I will be staying Saturday regardless of a break. When I am shucking out $25 for a day of wheelin, I am gonna make sure I get my free grub!! I have another friend coming up with his YJ, so there will be a couple of us coming up with our rigs. I am hoping to impress this guy so that he will join and also show that we are not a bunch of Ron's...I mean Jeep haters

I was going to have a t-shirt airbrushed with a hot pink Jeep and have it say "Hi, my name is Ron and I LOVE Jeeps!" But I did not want to spend $30 for a shirt that he would throw away, and I dont kow him well enough to play that joke on...YET!!!

No you didn't miss me, I called Andy Saturday morning when it was raining like a biatch and he said that it was probably not worth the drive up b/c of how muddy it was. I also called him Saturday night to check on coming up Sunday but he said that in his opinion it was a mess and not worth it for us (I dont really dig mudd runs too much). So, we went over to "The Farm" at Kirksville yesterday and ran over there for the day. It was muddy as well, but they did not receive as much rain over there as we did here and farther north. Hell, we should have stayed home...I blew my power steering line and my buddy blew his tranny, so it was a PIA to drive back in w/ mud filled TSL's and no PS to assist .....ahhhh, just another day wheelin' !!!

man this weekend at dans was great after the rain...........:looser:

it warmed up and was a blast sorry that you didn't make it up maybe next time

I wanted to come down but the rain, cold and mud just didn't seem like fun to me. That and another chance of thunderstorms Saturday night had the girlfriend scared to camp.

I will be down there for the Labor Day run in September.

yeah the weather did suck and I understand with $4.00 gas what is the point of driving down and then not enjoying your self. If i lived in DM or more than hour away I no i wouldn't of showed up but when you live 20 min out its great.
