Make It Or Break It - Who's Going?

Thanks for the info Watson. I looked up their cages and they are VERY reasonable. I know that the heavier you go the more they cost, but I think the entry level one would be enough for what I do. I am curious as to how much shipping one would be. I am sure I wont have one by MD, but def something to save towards for the future runs.

Event runs from 12noon Friday the 23rd to 3or5pm(unsure on time) Monday the 26th. I really want to go down really early and get the prime camping spot but we will see if my junks loaded up and ready to go or not...andy(always a hour late)

Hey Brian, if you end up driving, do you think you, me and Andy could convoy since we're all coming from the DM/Norwalk area?
Do you not know how to get there??

I may be going to Dan's by-way-of New Virginia and picking up a Wrangler and friend for wheeling the weekend. And that would be after work.:twak:

I will be there on Sunday. I gotta bachelor party on that Saturday night to go to. Brad Matt and Stice will prolly be there late on Saturday after work. Whats this BS on needing a cage if you run tube or half doors? I am not ready to cage my MJ yet. I still need to get my rock rails and get mine into the body shop to get repainted. Plus a list of other crap to do to it.

Not really bs just safety incase of a roll over the roof will not support the weight of the vehicle. I mean if you wheel any thing can happen and MIOBI just wants us all to be safe. I think if you take your rig off road at all it should be one of the first thing you add. I no that I dont have one yet but its on the list to do this year and I run full doors.

Don't get all your girlie pink parts in a bind everyone over the cage thing. It IS something we(MIOBI) will be starting to faze in this year. Just don't be stupid if you don't have one and run no doors/tube. For the event we will be doing a rig by rig deal. It was started to make the ones that run big tires and only a cab, or no top at all.

Don't worry, come out and wheel, have fun and If you have been down before you should be fine, if you pass tech:repair:...Any more questions feel free to contact me here in P.Ms...andy

Nah, it's all good Brian, I know how to get there. I was just meaning if you fellas were going around the same time we could all head down together, it's no big deal though.

Hey guys, I am new to the Iowa area and was wondering if this shindig was worth going to? I have a lifted Cherokee but prolly not too interested in beating the shit out of it just yet, seeing how it's my baby and my DD. Let me know, thanks!

o come on man thats no way to be just because i am still learning to drive

no really there is something out there for every one. Hope to see you there and yes its is worth the trip

Hey Watson,
how about posting the rules on here for the guys that dont know what is "required" equipment. I know we dont want guys traveling hours to get there and find out that they dont pass tech inspection. I noticed a while back that the rules tab was missing on MIOBI's homepage.

and oh yeah, I am planning on being there with a few other rigs following me up for Saturday.. (just to keep things on topic here! :D)

I took my XJ out there last fall and had a great time. The only damage was my own fault for trying to climb over a rock with open diffs and denting my rocker. Like Rockhoud said: there is something for everyone on the MIOBI trails.

What are the details of your XJ? Year/lift/tires/pics?
