The solution is the one my parents used on me, the word "NO". I turned out ok... I could be worse:dunno:

Well I think Ive posted on here I dont remember so many boardsparty1:
Any way. I just recently got an 86 wagoneer it currently has the 2.8 (YUCK) im IN THE PROCESS OF GATHERING PARTS TO CHANGE THAT ALONG WITH SUSPENSION THIS SPRING. IM planning on stuffing a 92 chev cpi injected 4.3L with 700R into it Ive got a set of 4.5 coils and gonna do a bastard spring pack out back. running 33 for now at least A dana 44 out of a 69 jeepster and havent decided if Im gonna modify the hp 30 front or just build a hp 44 for the front. Still in the planning and parts stockpiling stage lol

If you're gonna go through that much trouble, why not just throw an injected 305 or 350 in there? Those 4.3's only put out 160hp and IRC the 4.3 motor mounts are different because its a 90 degree v6 as opposed to the 2.8's 60 degrees.

Well heres me:

91 XJ Sport
33" M/T's on 15x8 Black Rock Crawlers
3" Rough Country Lift with 2" Shackles/Coil Spacers

1300w of Lighting :)
2500w Stereo System

Future Goals:
Build New Front/Rear bumpers to incorperate both my 8000lbs Ramsey Winches

do i count as a new person since i just moved back?

I don't own or wheel an xj. I'm a Toyota guy. My wife, however, drives and wheels an xj. That means I wrench on an xj. Currently in the process of replacing a RE 3.5 with a mix of parts that will put her at about 5-5.5" with a used Rusty's longarm kit. Getting a D-44 ready to go under the back. It is getting an E-locker and 4.10s. The front is still a D-30 and gets 4.10s as well as an Aussie. PORC provided the SYE. Front and rear bumpers were built by a friend. I don't remember who built the sliders because I got them from the same guy I bought the longarms from. Some of you know XJOE. Find his rig and you have pics of my wifes sliders. We live near Port Orchard and I have met a couple folks from here on the trails.

Zac from Kent, WA. I'm 21. I have a 88, with 3in. lift, 33's super swamper, light bar and cut fenders. not much but i'm just starting.

Hi my name is Ben.
I have been sucking this site dry for about a year and a half. Much thanks for all the info!
I live in the spokane valley area, but I have also had the pleasure of living in Mukilteo for 4 years. Came to enjoy reiter pit back when I had a bad ass baja bug. I want to get back with my XJ this spring. BTW Is the river crossable this time of year? I am thinking not but?

I "assembled" a compilation of cheap, home made, and used parts (cept gears and sensors) about a year ago. The build took my ugly 1990 XJ from stock to about 7.5" with Waggy D44s, aussie lockers (rear first, front is on order), 4:88's, 35's (BFG's), RK 3 link LA, 93HO motor with renix ECU.

My next step is the front bumper including the MM8000 sitting on the garage floor. And the front locker when it gets here.

Anyways Hi to all and if you are in the spokane area and want to wheel let me know.

Ben

Yes, I believe there are several bridges across the Columbia, and a few Dams too! (You might wanna check though!! :gee: )

Seriously though, Ben... Thanks for chiming in! Always nice to hear from our E. Washington crowd!

Haha I wasnt talking about the columbia river !! haha.
No the "creek" at reiter pit that you have to cross to go up the trail on the other side.

Yes the "stream" is crossible, but i'd recommend a lift just in case. There are a couple sections where crossing is good. I know the one your probably talking about, and a buddy of mine was just there last night, and was able to do it, he has 37" tires, with a 6" lift and it was half way up the tires.
