Looking for Surco rack pictures

Hi Gang!

I'm looking for some pics of Surco racks mounted. If anyone has mounted theirs with a gutter mount Yakima or Thule set up I'd love to see them too.

Surco 45x60 with gutter mounts. Harbor freight offroad lamps on it right now, I have some hella 500's waiting though.

Why did you go for the gutter mounts?

bought it used and it came with them. I would have gone gutter mounts with what ever rack I would have bought, factory racks are just to weak. Push on a factory cross bar once, it will flex. The gutter mounts don't let the rack move at all.

I have a nice three bar Yakima looking gutter mount set up. I'm thinking of using this instead of the Surco mounts.
How high is the basket bottom from the roof with your set up?
I'm concerned that with the Yakima rack the basket would be too high...

Mounted on the factory rack....because I got the whole rack and the mounts on it for free...so i'm not complaining. Some day when I have some extra cash I'm going to get the gutter mounts.

Picture taken earlier this week. I have two Hella 500's sitting here on my desk that I need to get wired up soon to go on the rack.

I still have my factory rack cross bars on, the surco just barely clear them. I left them there for added support when I toss some heavy stuff up there.
