Looking for Storage Ideas - Travel Trailer

Okay, looks like I might buy a small travel trailer, the trailer itself is about 13' - 14' long I'd say (the cabin is roughly 9' - 10') and it's about 8' tall. I'm looking to store it someplace outdoors on the cheap. I'd like to keep it in the South Bay area so I don't have to drive too far when I want to use it. Anybody know a good place that's on the cheaper side of life?

South Bay? I thought you were down around LA or OC? Did I miss something?

Also, I'd like to hear what sort of trailer you went out and got. I've heard that PG&E sells some of their "mobile office" trailers at auction - rigged with electrics, aircon, heat, and a decent cabin (big enough to be made into workroom/sleepin with a little creativity) and I've not seen one of those in person yet... I am also given to understand that they run just on the short side of a ton.

I'm asking b/c my wife and I go back and forth to AZ looking at property, and that's the sort of thing that could save money on all the trips (hotel rooms and such, you see...)

Wrong South Bay man (Haven't we been though this before ), I live in the Redondo Beach area out of L.A. I got a Burro from a family friend, used but it good looking shape.

I'll be taking possesion of it after Christmas. Just gotta figure out a place to stash it

Storage isn't cheap! Don't know of any up that way. Check out edison power pole location thinges (HUH). Down this way they are building lots of RV storage around the power pole distibution locations.

I don't think it'll be ready for Calico... I'm thinking full bar on the inside, complete with a very small bartender.

I had the same Burro, when I was a single guy. You can sleep four if you are really, really good friends. Now, I'm married, with kids. I don't want my family that close!!

If you know someone in a retirement place they usually have reasonably priced storage. We store our RV with my in-laws and its $20 a month in San Marcos and I can get in there any time I want, on level asphalt, gated and locked. Old folks are good cause they take care of their stuff and respect others. We had it stored at an RV storage place a few years ago at $45/mo and it was open 7 to 7, on gravel.
